Immersive rural culinary and botanical morning including early morning herb harvesting, open-hearth cooking demonstration, breakfast, and an introduction to food energetics according to Ayurveda.
The Story
Leonie · Culinary Anthropologist & Sustainable Travel Writer from Zurich
Leonie wanted to experience food as medicine (Ahara Kalpana). Her morning began at dawn harvesting Gotukola with local village growers, followed by cooking an authentic herbal congee in an open-air clay hearth with a senior Ayurvedic physician.
Origin: Traditional Sri Lankan rural village mornings where seasonal herbal nourishment is prepared fresh every dawn.
